A friend and I split a 2 bedroom cabin for a long weekend fishing trip. It was in a great location for the lakes we had targeted. Great experience.

Myself and two friends throughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at Burson’s Delta Resort. Booking was easy and Dana is extremely communicative. Within 24 hours of being there, I told myself I would be coming back for a week trip next year! The location, cabin, lake, and entire property is beautiful and to quote my neighbor at the cabin next to ours who was leaving after a week: “It’s exactly what I’ve always dreamed of when I say a cabin on the lake”.

Ever dreamed of spending a week in a cozy cabin on a pristine lake, tucked away in the rugged wilderness of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula? We found exactly that at Burson’s Delta Resort. It’s a charming throwback to simpler times - quiet, slow-paced, and surrounded by natural beauty. The cabins are clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with short paths that lead down to beautiful Foote Lake, where we fished every day, either off the dock or in the rowboat that comes with each cabin. Ted and Louise are wonderful hosts - welcoming, helpful, and clearly passionate about this special place. The surrounding forest is gorgeous and peaceful, and there’s a spacious firepit area that’s perfect for gathering in the evenings under the stars. The perfect unplugged getaway. We’ll definitely be back.

We absolutely love coming to Burson’s Delta each year. The owners are incredibly friendly, kind, and responsive. We have loved the charm and craftsmanship of each cabin we’ve stayed in and they each have exactly what you need to be comfortable! This is the perfect spot to unwind and relax. The cabin rental includes a row boat, which is great for exploring the lake and fishing. The whole resort and the lake so private and peaceful!

I've been coming here for over 30yrs. I first started coming up to Burson's Delta Resort in 1991, when my parents, aunt, and uncle brought me here on a family trip. Now, all these years later, I’m bringing my own family to share in the same experience. Ted and Louise are two of the kindest people you’ll ever meet—gracious hosts who make you feel right at home. There’s something special about this place: a sense of peace and simplicity that’s hard to find these days. It’s truly a retreat from the hustle and noise of everyday life. Our kids absolutely love being in the woods, surrounded by nature. Every summer, they count down the days until we return. Places like this are rare now—where you can unplug from everyday life and just slow down for a while. Burson's Delta Resort has been that peaceful escape for me for nearly 30 years, and I hope it will be for many more to come.

Burson's Delta Resort is hands-down one of the most peaceful and authentic getaways we have ever experienced. Each day feels like stepping back in time—in the best possible way. We come back year after year and stay in one of the cozy cabins (Pine). The cabins are always spotless, charming, and full of personality The lake is stunning. We spend hours fishing, rowing, and just relaxing on the dock. Each cabin comes with its own boat, which is a lovely touch. The surrounding trails and gravel roads are perfect for hiking and exploring. Ted and Louise, the owners, are absolute gems. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel instantly welcome. You can tell they care deeply about this place and the people who visit. If you're looking for a quiet, nostalgic, and soul-refreshing escape, Burson's Delta Resort is it. We already booked Pine for our 2026 family vacation!

This little gem is tucked away in a quiet little area between Munising and Manistique. It’s a page out of history in the best ways possible. Its vintage vibes and nostalgic feel makes you feel like you have stepped back into a simpler time. Our little cabin nestled among the pines was equipped with all of the necessities. It was not fancy, just simply perfect. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. A row boat and life jackets are provided so you can visit the little lake and take a chance at catching fish. Also included with your stay is a weekly gathering of visitors and locals with a pitch in and camp fire, a tradition for many years and generations. We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The most peaceful vacations we have ever had! Our family has had the pleasure of staying in 4 of their cabins over the years (big to little depending on number of people coming). All of them have been clean and well furnished, rustic but quaint with great access to a semi-private lake smack dab in the middle of the forest. And we cannot say enough about the hosts! The Burson’s are absolutely wonderful folks! Can’t wait until our next visit.
